AdSense Profit Stealing Virus On The Loose!
I was just emailed by a colleague about a Google AdSense virus spreading out on the web that is adversely effecting publishers and advertisers a like. Apparently the virus is being distributed via malware to unsuspecting victims.
How It Works
Once the user downloads the malware, it eventually hijacks their PC so that every time they visit a website that has AdSense displayed, the ads that are clicked are re-directed to another ad serving service. I’m pretty sure the other services are not promoting this method nor encouraging their affiliates to do so. It obvious that the author of this virus is acting alone.

Let’s hope this doesn’t become a trend because many AdSense publishers and AdWords advertisers will be effected greatly which will no doubt have an impact on Google’s brand and more importantly their bottom-line.
